Ari Vatanen Rally Center is located in a beautiful landscape at the edge of Tuupovaara. The reason for such a small community having a driving center like this is that Ari Vatanen was born in Tuupovaara. The Rally Center is owned by a limited liability combany ant the company has Ari as a mentor and godfather.

The idea of building a driving center emerged when Ari Vatanen won the World Rally Championship in 1981. Ari designed Rally Center's 5,6 km Rallytrack using all the experience he gained during his racing career. The Rallytrack was established in 1988 and it is unique in design and concept. This closed round track has 20 different curves, long straight part and triple jumper. These features are a challenge - even for professional rallydrivers.

Besides this Rallytrack Rally Center has another track for beginners. The 0,8 km practicing track is good when taking the first steps in rally driving. This track is suitable for getting familiar with the car and the gravel surface. For large groups this short track is one of the "action sites" during their visit in Rally Center.

Both of the tracks are in customer's use to practise rally driving. Rally Center's experienced rally drivers can provide you the experience of the real adventure of rally. One round on the Rallytrack as a co-pilot with Rally Center's drivers is the highlight of your visit - something you will remember for a long time.

If you get hungry while driving we can offer you different kinds of meals in our cafeteria or by the open fire. for groups we organize also canoe trips, four-wheeler (ATV) driving and in winter snowmobile safaris. We can also offer you different kinds of options for accomodation.
